Upgrading OPENSKY™

You should always uninstall the previous version of OPENSKY™ before installing a new one. You should save any content you wish to keep in a different directory before uninstalling.

Uninstall Procedure

If you have a previous version of OPENSKY™ Client Application installed on your computer, the recommended procedure is:

  1. stop OSListener if it is running (right-click on the taskbar icon and select "Exit OSListener")
  2. uninstall the previous version of OPENSKY™ Client Application
  3. manually delete spurious files that may be located in c:\Program Files\OpenSky
  4. reboot your computer
  5. proceed with the install of OPENSKY™ Client

You should also quit, as well as remove from the "Startup" procedure, the application which manages your DVB card (e.g. Broadlogic Control Application). Exact procedure depends on your operating system and on your DVB card brand.
