Transponder Change

Affects Customers on W3A C12

W3A C12 > C5

On 12 Feb 2007, Eutelsat changed the transponder settings for C12 to those for C5.

  1. If you use Opensky, please run OSWizard to re-register and the system will automatically update the correct settings.
  2. If you tune your receiver manually, please use the following new parameters:
  • Frequency: 11.29925 GHz (was 11.449 GHz)
  • Polarity: Horizontal (was Vertical)
  • Symbol Rate: 13.5 MSym/s (was 27.5 MSym/s)
  • FEC: 3/4 (was 2/3)

Customers using transponder C3 on W3A at 7°E or transponder B2 on EUROBIRD 3 at 33°E are not affected by this change.
