Proxy Location Issues
Opensky is a proxy-based service. The proxy "knows" you have an Opensky SatSurf account and sends all the data you request back to your PC via the broadband satellite link.
Some websites, like Google, check location before they send you the page. In cases where proxy servers are used, this does not always give the desired local result.
They send you the page for the location of the proxy (France) instead of your true location.
Workround
Don't use www.google.com - use the specific page for the country you want to search.
For example, use www.google.co.uk
