Manhattan BSM 2

Broadband Satellite Modem

The Manhattan Broadband Satellite Modem is probably the easiest way to get connected to the Opensky SatSurf Fast Internet Service.

With a built-in modem (or ISDN TA) plus login software it simply connects to your computer via Ethernet.

You do not have to install any drivers or software on your computer: just sign-up for an account and enter your login details for Opensky and your ISP onto the BSM 2.

The easiest way to install Satellite Broadband

  • True Plug and Play
  • Align the dish
  • Connect the cables
  • Setup via your browser
  • Click connect - and you're on line.

Compatible with any computer which has a browser and ethernet port

  • Apple MAC, PC, Unix, Linux, anything.
  • No software needed on your PC, just connect via your ethernet cable.
  • Built-in DHCP server
  • Connect to your network via ethernet switch or hub.

PSTN and ISDN models

  • Built-in v34 modem (PSTN model) or ISDN TA (ISDN model).
  • Just enter your ISP details via your browser.
  • No need to change your ISP, e-mail or web host.

Designed for Eurosat BeyonDSL Opensky service.

  • Speeds average 512kbs inbound
  • Outbound 33kbs (modem) 64 kbs (ISDN)

New Firmware Released

The original BSM2 was released with 0.9 firmware which was not compatible with SatTV and SatKiosk.

The new firmware is 1.0 and is automatically on all new BSM2s. Users with the old firmware can contact us for a free upgrade by emailing admin @ beyondsl.net
