Buying Options

Buy Online or phone for free on 0800 368 1100 between 9am and 6pm Monday to Friday.

It can be as simple as buying the equipment, following the install instructions and subscribing. In addition, there are a range of options for you to create the best possible package for your needs.

To Start

For most packages, you buy the equipment. You can install it yourself or ask one of our professional installers to do it for you. You then choose the subscription level you want, pay the activation fee and you’re online.

Monthly or Annual?

You can save money by opting for an annual contract on any of the normal packages. There’s a free month discount on all levels so you’re getting 12 months service for the cost of 11. You can choose this at the time of order or even move onto it later.

Finding the Right Performance Plan

Not all users want the same from their broadband service. You might want the convenience of an unlimited download package or you can go for economy with a capped package. With either of these, you can add FreeZone if you can schedule big downloads overnight to keep them out of your regular data allowance. Plus if you need an occasional speed boost on a regular account, you can opt for a Priority Reset at any time.

Standard or Value?

Standard packages let you download unlimited data each month but your speed is gradually limited as your download amount reaches various steps.

Value packages are capped to a given amount each month (2, 3 or 4GB depending on the package) so they are less expensive. Just like a mobile phone, you can buy TopUps if you need them. Or just wait until your month renews.

FreeZone

FreeZone is a great way of protecting your monthly download limit. If you opt for FreeZone, you can download any amount of data overnight (between 11pm and 5am) which does not impact on your regular download amounts. Some of your programmes (eg Windows) let you schedule downloads at a given time and there are also download managers available. FreeZone is available on all except the slowest packages.

Priority Reset

If you find you have used up so much data that you are on a low speed priority, you can buy a Priority Reset to reset your data counter to go back to the top priority step. You should check how long you’ve got until your regular reset date as any Priority Reset will expire then.

Promotions

From time to time, we will offer Promotions which have terms and conditions of their own.

Upgrades

We have a flexible Upgrade policy and you can change from one level to another without penalty. You can even, by making a one-off balancing payment, change from any promotional offer to a normal package.

Install Options

The kit can be mounted on any standard pole with a diameter between 40mm and 70mm. We can supply a range of suitable mounts: l-shaped wallmount, patio mount, NPRM or simple pole. If you need advice on this, you may wish to have a professional install from one of our installers.

Wi-Fi and Routers

The satmodem as supplied can feed a single computer via the ethernet connection. You can connect more than one computer by using a standard ethernet router or “cable-type” wi-fi router. We supply a suitable one but any standard router will also be suitable.

TV Options

The ASTRA2Connect dish can be fitted with an LNB for digital TV from ASTRA 28.2 which is the one for Sky and Freesat. You can’t, however, add this service to an existing Sky or Freesat dish: they’re not designed to transmit.

If you’re thinking of adding digital TV, it’s probably best you discuss this with one of our local installers as they can give you a custom quote for the installation which will depend on how many receivers you want, what type and what room(s) you want them in.

The important point is that you can have the same range of choice fitted to an ASTRA2Connect dish as a normal Sky or Freesat dish.
